Everything Under the Moon

So one day I was astral projection through the universe as usual. I fly away at the speed of light away from Earth and into the universe. I discover amazing planets and life on them, colorful nebulas etc.

But this time I encountered a dark sphere and I approached it. It sucked me into it and I somehow appeared outside of the universe. Just nothingness. I turned off for a while and then returned to my body.

What could this be?

Perhaps it's worth exploring further.

What do you think it means that such a non-thing exists? Moreover, how were you able to enter it if it were truly nothing?

It sounds like a dwarf star and/or a black hole. I've encountered similar when battling with Zeus in outer space, but instead if was a black liquid wall, and when he and I went through it, we divided into many Selves, and were flying through a black hole.
