Favorite Protection Sigils?

Hello everyone!

(Firstly, I wasn't really sure where to post this, so feel free to move it of course.)
I did a quick search through the forums but couldn't find what I was looking for, so here's a new post.

I'm at a point in my life where misfortunes are befalling me seemingly at every turn, and also, at a point where I'm becoming more and more interested in incorporating symbols/sigils/runes/etc. into everyday life (this may be to blame on my recent Supernatural marathoning ).

So I figured I'd ask the community- what are your favorite protection sigils (or other symbols) to put on yourself, and perhaps somehow place on the home or pets? I'd be very interested to see and probably use them!

For the home in particular, I use a bindrune of Algiz, Othala, and Eihwaz. On their own these runes are of course possessed of good power, but when combined into a bindrune, the three in particular are the makings for a happy and secure living space.

A very good all-around wellspring of protective force, though, is a regularly maintained ancestral altar in the home. It can be small and inconspicuous, and the benefits of healthy spirit relationships build up over time and follow you wherever you go as well as keep the nasties away from your home and live-in loved ones.

I'll do an occasional aura cleansing salt scrub in the shower (when it feels like its needed) and balance the elements within me in a cast circle, by just standing in the Center & visualizing 3D the 6 directions (N,E,S,W, above & below) radiating from me. The sigil for that would be the "witch's foot" or an X bisected by a vertical line | but I don't wear it printed on my physical body or on jewelry. I visualize it as radiating from within as a shielding exercise. My body just sort of came up with it on it's own. Meh.

I have a pentacle tattooed on me. I got that when I was being stalked. When Mouse died, young and unexpectedly, I got a tattoo of her, which incorporates the pentacle. She's coming down a tree, in the dark, and the pentacle is her necklace.

Snow, that tattoo sounds lovely. And thanks, everyone, for the input! I had to research what a "bindrune" is, and I really like that idea. They're all good ideas! Thank you. I'm looking forward to seeing any additional responses; it seems like everyone has a little something different/unique to share.
