Why I haven't thought of that! This is genius!

Take a look at this: Improvised Scales

There's a bunch of ways to make this.
Raptor/bird of prey same thing...terminology often used interchangably where I am.
When I read raptors, I thought of reptiles and dinosaurs! xD

Hahahaha! Oh that's more than awesome! A big RAWR to you mister! Thanks for the giggle!

Interestingly enough though...the current literature is thinking that many raptor "Dino style" had feathers or plumage of some kind.....now only if I could find me one!

* Becks taps her chin*

I'm glad you like the idea of improvising.....I love symbols and sympathetic magic. My brain just thinks....."now what can I use to represent?"

I have to add I especially like the simple improvised one with sticks....so pretty and natural....it's in the air and that's an excellent correspondence as well. Wow....brain is humming now!

Which one Becks?

And yes! I would vote for utilizing the air element (and also water element) here for this specific spell.

I'm terrible at posting pictures. It's the one that is a line drawing of a simple dowel hanging from the branch of a tree. I could do it with found objects in nature. What's so cool is that folks can pick what speaks to them. It is as simple or as complex as they wish it to be. :D

...and I should clarify...I was joking how I'd like to find a raptor feather not a (RAWR) raptor proper! Yikes....

So we have scale, raptors' feather and heart shape paper for the 'Weighing of Heart' ritual (weighing our souls and balance it against the feather of truth). The idea here is in order for us to weigh others' heart or soul, we have to weigh and discern our heart and soul first -- being aware of what we show or hide to other people, mastering our emotional states, and above all, as the Oracle at Delphi of the Greek Mythos exhorts us to do, "knowing thy self". We can only discern others what we have discerned in ourselves.

Alum crystals/powder and a jar of muddy water for the Water Purification in which we're going to turn the opaque water into transparent; in order for us to clearly see through to the other side.

Anything else?

And what are we going to do with the herbs and stones? Are we wanting to create something like a Spell Bag by putting things in a cloth?

I thought you were just listing options for what is good for truths. So I added that.

Alright witches, any ideas for magickal techniques? What do you think we should do to the crystals and herbs? Do you think we could possibly incorporate them in the previously suggested procedures?

I think eating/drinking the herbs (having them be internal) is ideal since intuition comes from within and that's what we want to enhance.
