Alrighty, I haven't posted anything here recently and nobody seems to be wanting a particular recipe, so I'm just going to continue with what Petar Dimkov calls "biostimulators". These are basically immune stimulators.
And here we go:
Recuperative recipe:
Valerian roots - 30 gr, lavender flowers - 40 gr, hop cones - 20 gr, basil - 60 gr, St. John's Wort - 50 gr. The dried herbs are cut in small pieces and mixed well, 2 tablespoons of the mixture is to be boiled in 500 ml of water for 20 minutes. After filtering, the tea is to be taken 3 times a day before meals, 50 ml each time.
After the initial quantity of herbs is taken, a week of rest is to be made.

Universal biostimulator for a long life.
2 onions are peeled and grated. After that, filter the juice from them and add 500 gr of honey. Stir well and take 1 tablespoon 3 times a day.

Birch biostimulator.
150 birch leaves are boiled in 700 ml of water until you get 500 ml of tea. Filter and drink 100ml of it 4 times a day before meals. This tea has diuretic effect too.

Onion biostimulator.
300 gr of onion are cut in small pieces and squeezed to get all the juice. Add 100 gr of honey and 650 ml of red wine. This is to be taken 4 times a day, 75 ml each time. It helps relieve flu symptoms too.

Honey - ginger immune stimulator
I use this one every winter. I give it to my daughter as she needs the immunity boost.
Take a lemon and wash it well, cut in slices and pour honey over it, enough to cover the whole lemon. Grate about 1.5 cm of ginger root and add to the mixture. Take a tablespoon of it twice a day.
And except good for the immune system this is actually delicious :)

Hey Yana, I noticed on your first page, a post about clearing up stuffy nose. I wanted to share with you, not a recipe, but a trick I personally do that has always helped me, my friends and family.
Sit up straight in a chair.
Exhale all your breath.
Close your mouth, keep it closed and pinch your nose.
Now, with your mouth shut and nose pinched.
Nod your head up and down, but only til it just starts to become unbearabe/uncomfortable.
Keep your mouth shut or else youll have to start over. Release your hand from your nose, slowly take a deep breath in.
After that first breath or two, now you can open your mouth.

Hope you dont mind me adding it in. It was just because you had mentioned stuffy noses.

Cool, I didn't want to seem imposing or stepping on toes. I don't know how it works but lol it does. ^^ and it felt wrong to just keep it to myself especially since its so easy and simple to do

I make a liniment for hubby's arthritis...
One Yucca root found in produce section grocery store
One bottle vodka, a cheap one works fine !
Grate or finely chop Yucca skin and all-
Add Yucca to quart jar with tight-fitting lid,
one-third full, finish filling jar with vodka.
Shake vigorously for at least one minute,
set on counter or somewhere out of sunlight.
Shake well every other day for 3-6 wks; I
keep mine in for 6wks since his arthritis
is pretty bad. Strain, Yucca can go into
compost pile; apply with cotton balls.
Indefinite shelf life with vodka, can be
used with apple cider vinegar but shelf
life with this is only a year.
Happy shaking !
Gentle Light

Thank you, MsMollimizz, I'll copy that to my BoS if you don't mind.

You just reminded me of something really useful.
If you want a remedy to relieve aching joints or muscles, you can make it by taking 100 gr snowdrop blossoms and put them into 1 l of strong alcohol such as vodka, pure medicinal spirit or something similar. Let sit for a month and you have it. Whenever you need it, put on a cloth and tie on the joint/muscle. It's really helpful.
The common snowdrop contains galantamine, which is known to relieve myopathy.
THIS IS FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY!

Valerian root tea saves my life at least once a week. I have fahrs ( basal ganglia calcifications .. Aka brain calcium deposits). And it causes MASSIVE migraines. .. Valerian root is amazing.

Feverfew used to help with my migraines. I keep intending to try it for my fibro. I just have to remember to buy some.
