Four Quarters

Post by BlueKat »

I've been thinking if it would be ok to change the positions of the quarters. Where I live Air seems to fit west and Water East better. I know what the general way is. But I have seen different positions of the Elements.
Would just like a few more oppinions.
P.S. Have a nice Beltane! :)

Hello BlueKat. It would be great for the members to get to know you better. If you could please introduce yourself in the members introduction section that would be brilliant.

Hi BlueKat, this is what I'm thinking too. In the chinese tradition, North is black, which signifies water, East is earth, West is yellow, which is metal. And south is red, represents fire which is the same as other religion. I am thinking if it would be okay to switch each corner appropriate with our own tradition?

I honestly don't see why not. That's your culture, your blood sings for it. It isn't wrong to adapt your heritage to your neowiccans beliefs.
