The Four Elements in Old Norse

Post by seidkonacat »

I thought this translation might be interesting to anyone who follows the Norse or Germanic gods.

The Four Elements in Old Norse:

Earth: Jord

Wind: Vindr

Water: Logr

Fire: Aldrnari

sources:
English to Old Norse Dictionary
Old Norse Religion in Long-term Perspectives, ed. Anders Andrén, Kristina Jennbert, and Catharina Raudvere.

Oh, very cool! I work with fire a lot, due to it being closely linked to Loki. (: Thanks for this. (:
