We finally got the forum upgraded to all the latest versions of everything. It wasn't necessary to delete a bunch of posts. I found a guy smart enough to figure his way around that problem. Now we just have to make it purple. We'll be doing that tomorrow (Friday). This will probably be the new layout though, so moderators will need to adjust to having links and options in different places than before.

PMs will not be deleted, after all. Turns out, he was able to save them all. Mine showed 10 new messages that I thought I had already read, but at least they're in there. (They were messages I hadn't replied to, I guess, but they show as new now.)

If you're on a PC or Laptop, try using Ctrl+F5 to refresh your cache. It made the videos work for me (after some work was done to them.)

will there be a button for the new posts, unread, unanswered and frequently viewed?? It seems to have disappeared.

Oh, and I also notice you cannot access your EUTM.net site by clicking the top bar where it's written (next to the phpbb forum software) anymore, can that be fixed?

I had the purple turned off for years because it is a distraction while reading.
We need "view active topics" back or we will have to fish every every main heading to find any updated posts.

Found it guys! Go to the upper left corner, below phpBB. Select "quick links," [just above "board index" with the house to the left of it] and there you are!

Can you keep the purple turned off, or allow me to view as-is, how I have been viewing for years?

btw...I use the silver board mostly because the shout box was on top, in the lavender version it's at the bottom, like now, can we move it back to the top? and will you be able to see who is on-line, hidden or not?

Erp... Weeeell I LIKE purple buuuut... a purple website was always a bit too much lavender and mauve for me... makes me feel a bit queasy reading.

I've been grey and blue since I worked out how to do it.

This is wonderful! I'm so glad you were able to fix things. I kinda miss the purple color, but I'll take any color so long as the forum is still up and running.

And it's so much faster now. The older version sometimes lagged or didn't want to load properly. But so far everything seems to be working well.

Actually... The Purple theme is bit too much purple for me too. :/ Do we have options for this? Few forum's I've been on had a choice from several color themes which was really nice. Our bands forum had that too back in the day. We had a really nice forest brown + green layout which was very pleasant. That kind of thing could work here too. Anyway, I like how things are now, works like a charm.
