if I knew changing my email would deactivate my account I wouldn't change it. but having my old email here was better?

While I'm at it, here's a PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

If you are going to change your email address in your account profile, please PM me first that you are going to do this. I activate accounts two or three times a week, which is usually when I find that someone has accidentally deactivated themselves. If you let me know ahead of time that you are going to change your email, then I will reactivate you much faster.
