A friend of mine was gifted a bunch of stuff to start an altar and there's this fragrant bit of wood she doesn't know what it is or what it's for. Do you guys know?Image

Someone else in the original board she posted that on suggested that. We have no idea. What is that and what is it used for?

does it have a hole drilled in it?
You can burn it like incense, it has a really great high vibrational energy that is good for clearing negative stuff away.

Also used for smudging- yeh, looks like palo santo. It’s a sacred wood because it retains its scent & raises vibes. Some online shops include a single stick as a gift when purchasing.

Palo Santo if it's got a sweet smell. Burn it like you would sage. It's nice stuff.
