Candle went out

So I was praying to the Goddess for help on a certain matter regarding love. The candle starts to burn low and starts to go out as it does I get this really strange feeling that I've never felt before and the candle just exstiguishes. It almost felt like I blacked out, I re lit the candle and it is burning perfectly now.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

First I would ask you these questions:

1. What color was the candle?

2. Did you "dress" candle?

2.a Did you "dress" candle dedicated to Venus?

3. Did you set up your altar where you burned your candle with symbols or colors corresponding to Venus?

Now, some here might and probably will say what I am asking is advanced or does not pertain yet it is part of my tradition, therefore I ask. If I were to give a simple answer without more information as to the nature of your situation, I would posit a possibility of an end to one relationship leading to the beginning of a new one, which shall be more successful.

I dressed it with oil from the passion flower
I made offerings to my goddess that are tradition
I have an alter set up to the aspects of my religion, with offerings set on it.

The feeling I got was like energy being pulled out of me and towards the Heavens.

And to clarify my situation I have been with the same guy for about six years, and he has not touched me in over five years.
I met or re-met a guy I went to high school with. From the moment we started talking I've been super drawn to him. To the point I randomly messaged him my phone number, however, I got a message a day ago from him saying he was sick and would talk to me tonight, well I never heard from him. The message from a day ago he still called me babe, and he's maintained up until the two days of silence that he was into me and I made him feel "Giddy".

So I was petitioning the Goddess for help and clarity on the situation.

To be honest, all the stress and worry I had about the whole situation feels gone. I feel good.

I'm going to be as straight forward without being rude as I can be.

1) in all likelyhood you probably did not ground properly which caused a massive release of your energy and lead to the feeling you had. Happened to me a few times. It creates some strong juju but it can be dangerous.

2) If you have been with the same person for 6 years but not been "touched" (which I assume means being intimate with them) for 5...theeen I think you need to sort some personal business out before adding magick into the equation which can complicate things further.

Since this has happened I have had great clarity with the situation and other things in my life. I was stressed and worried not only about the new person but various other things that result from an ending relationship.

not being touched does include not being intimate but it also includes not hugging, kissing, or even really being in the same room together.

I think that maybe this was a release of heavy negative energy from the old relationship.

I've been a long time practitioner but I have been in a very deep depression.
I wouldn't say what I was doing was a spell so much as praying to my Gods/Goddesses I try to always make offering to them as it was customary to do so before prayers.

As another long time practitioner, I will try not to speak like you
area newbie !
I also am a sufferer of depression and as I have finally realized
this is a chemical imbalance in the brain. As any imbalance I perceive
as not being "all together" at the moment. I try to not use any type
of magick when I really depressed.
I don't know what state of mind you were in when you prayed to
your Goddess. That being said, I'm looking at this differently...
To me a candle going out is a clear message to me that that is a
problem I must work out myself, no amount of candles or prayers
will help me until I do something about this myself first. After doing
something myself I would light a different candle/color.
In this world now-a-days where technology has replaced human contact,
communication face-to-face, is the best magic to get to the bottom
of the problem. Take a deep breath and open mouth-just leave your
foot out of it, okay ?
