Omen of amphibians carcasses?

Post by eight »

This isn't a "general" question, just didn't know in which section to post.

Does anyone know/enounced what it means to find a frog carcass first upon the front door and just over six months later at the backdoor of a family home? The house is very far from any lakes, streams ect. There is no other explanation for the carcass to get there other than being put there by someone who means harm.

What is the omen of the amphibian carcass?

Thanks in advance

just add what is already known: amphibians and carcasses as separate are very bad omens. frogs are cold blooded and drawn on their surrounding environment for warmth...with strong homing instincts and ability to regenerate injured body parts.
Is the placement of this carcass on front and back porches used to destroy/injure a family unit?

In Egyptian symbolism, frog represents life and fertility as the Goddess Heqet, is represented by a frog in Egyptian iconography. Rotting frog corpses or frog carcasses embody the stench of death and infertility. Performing a spell against bad omen may help you to protect your family from misfortunes. The wearing of protective amulets and talismans also has helped many people who have seen bad omens.

Different magickal traditions have different correspondences. could be a sign to pay better attention to you health. They're sacred to Hecate so it might be she's trying to get your attention for something. They were also sacred to Venus, could be that the love you have for someone or something is dying/gone. They also represent transition from earth to water... it may be that you're neglecting spiritual studies and need to breath life back into your soul. They've gotten a bad rap (probably because they were one of the plagues Moses brought down on Egypt) but most traditions consider them as having potent power especially when used in spells (not that I recommend using animal parts in spells). If you're worried about curses or ill wishes I recommend a witch bottle. It's super simple. Just fill a jar with pointy stuff (nails/broken glass/needles, etc), add some protective herbs (some yo might find at your grocery store are agrimony, basil, cloves, cumin, garlic cloves, rosemary, rue and if you have a hemlock tree you can add some sharpened twigs) then fill the bottle with vinegar (for extra umph you can pee in it heehee) then bury it near the front door.
