Old topic, FAQ
Find an outdoor location and visit it a few times & get to know it’s vibes & the four directions. Sit & meditate at the site; leave water & bread friendship offerings each visit. This preps the site.
. A simple Circle - sweepaway debris in a , light stickincense & stand it in the dirt, then pull power on the breath to your gut, point-&-push walking . Use stones or supplies to mark the quarters.
. Supplies - incense, lighter, bottle of water, zippy-bag of bread pieces - represent 4 elements
. Make a twig whisk broom to keep on-site or use a fallen branch
. Pick 2-3 auspicious dates in case the weather is foul, then go your site on the date chosen. Cast a Circle and state your intention.
. The wording of your dedication might include identifying yourself as the child of ... name 3 generations (mother, grand-& Great-grand mother) if you can; or your DOB; say what you’re dedicating to and state a time period (usually for a year) to be renewed annually. Ask guidance from The Goddess & The God (or your belief) on your journey & protection. Give thanks, share a thanks offering. Ground yourself & the Circle. Pick up after yourself.
Then do something simple to celebrate - you may be emotional or want to be alone. Honor your feelings.
