What symbol do you wear?

Post by Violet »

Do you wear a spiritual symbol or amulet in everyday life? What does it look like?

I have been thinking for a while about what would feel right for me, and what personal symbols I would want to wear. I am about to go to the North Texas Irish Festival and will have plenty of pagan jewelry to consider. I'm thinking of getting a goat or ram.

I had an orris root carved like a hand holding an eye for a real long time. Then I transferred to a wonderful heavy cast silver cauldron,) ...(until it wore thru the silver loops) At one time I had a Silver Yoni with a glint of garnet in the magic button area, it was kinda abstract...only a few people got it. Then I was on to the traditional pentagrams I had two really beautiful pentagrams that were in my purse when it was stolen. I would like a silver Brighdes cross or a chalice. Can I come shopping with you?!!! My next necklace will be a bone carved moon and star, redone by my friend Heidi at the So.Cal Ren Faire, coming up in April.

wow!!! Ray, Holda, Wiccanwander, those are all really nice. I was trying to find a link for the bone carved celestial pieces I was speaking of, and I finally found it. I don't feel the pictures really do justice to these wonderful bone carved jewelry pieces. but check it out...

I wear a little crescent moon necklace all the time ... It looks similar to this:

I picked it up at a Native American pow-wow a few years ago, and I love it to death. It's understated but gets knowing looks from Pagans. Plus it reminds me of my connection to the Goddess.

drago25, that is gorgeous. I love the proportions. Tigereye is one of my favorite stones. Any special reason you chose it?
