Any tips you could give would be appreciated as i'm new to spell casting.

I don't know which is the right one to say all the way through the spell, me being the woman , and am I the petitioner? I find it all confusing

I've copied all out from the book and copied it below:

Altar 1 Figure Altar
Censer

Red 1

Petitioner <- Red 2
Gold <- Astral

Book

Light altar candles 1 and 2
Light incense
Light candle of petitioner saying:

here is ...(name)...,
this candle is him/her;
this flame burns as does his/her spirit.

Light red 1 and say:

The love of ... (name) ... is great and is here shown.
it is a good strong love and sought by many.

Light astral candle of person whose love is desired,
saying:

This is the heart of ... (name) ...whom here I see.
I picture him/her before me and know her/him so.

Light red 2 and say:

The love ... (name) ... has for
... (petitioner's name)... grows with this flame.
It burns as does the light
and is forever drawn towards him/her.
Great is the love he/she has for her/him.

Light gold candle and say:

Here draws she to he; the one toward the other.
Such is his/her love that all feel its attraction.
This candle burns and draws her/him ever near.
Powerful is his/her persuasion.
Ever does she/he feel the pull
the thought of him/her is constant.
Her/his days are long with yearning for him/her,
her/his nights are filled with desire.
To be as one, together, is all that she/he would wish.
To be as one, forever, is her/his immediate need.
For no rest shall she/he find until
beside him/her, she/he does lie.
His/her every wish she'll/he'll move to fill
to serve, to live - not die.
She/he cannot fight a pull so strong,
Nor would she/he think to fight;
she/he wishes but to ride the stream
to him/her, at journey's end.
Where the sun goes up
shall his/her love be by him/her;
where the sun goes down
there will she/he be.

Sit for a moment before extinguishing the candles.

Repeat the ritual every day, moving the astral and
red 2 candles one inch toward the petitioner each
time. Continue daily until astral and red 2 touch
petitioner.

Thank you for your help

that was confusing i see why you were having trouble. I have to say that I am surprised to see a spell like this coming out of one of his books as he is Wiccan and spells that manipulate others are against their religion and this is a manipulation spell.

you are the petitioner represented by candle "Red 2"

Thank you so much for your help.

I'm still confused with the bit after 'light the gold candle'. the he/she and his/her etc. Would you be kind enough to copy that bit and make the bits which I should say bold or underlined.

I can't thank you enough for any help you can offer me.

im sorry I cannot explain it to you anymore than I already have. This is a spell of manipulation and I do not condone their usage. What you choose to do is your business but I am not going to show you how to do it any more than I already have. Good luck to you

Honey, saying this with love and compassion, I've seen your other posts about your ex-boyfriend. What you are thinking about doing here is very dangerous not only on the mundane level but also on the spiritual level.

I urge you to very carefully consider the potential consequences of performing this ritual because the return if if works will be three-fold, and from what I have read in your other posts and what I sense about this person, the return will be three-fold emotional pain.

Ditto what Symandinome said ~ you have free will. It's up to you to decide whether you perform this ritual, the only thing that I urge you to do before going ahead with it is to read and carefully consider the Wiccan Rede.
The Wiccan Rede
(Full Version)
Bide within the Law you must, in perfect Love and perfect Trust.
Live you must and let to live, fairly take and fairly give.

For tread the Circle thrice about to keep unwelcome spirits out.
To bind the spell well every time, let the spell be said in rhyme.

Light of eye and soft of touch, speak you little, listen much.
Honor the Old Ones in deed and name,
let love and light be our guides again.

Deosil go by the waxing moon, chanting out the joyful tune.
Widdershins go when the moon doth wane,
and the werewolf howls by the dread wolfsbane.

When the Lady's moon is new, kiss the hand to Her times two.
When the moon rides at Her peak then your heart's desire seek.

Heed the North winds mighty gale, lock the door and trim the sail.
When the Wind blows from the East, expect the new and set the feast.

When the wind comes from the South, love will kiss you on the mouth.
When the wind whispers from the West, all hearts will find peace and rest.

Nine woods in the Cauldron go, burn them fast and burn them slow.
Birch in the fire goes to represent what the Lady knows.

Oak in the forest towers with might, in the fire it brings the God's
insight. Rowan is a tree of power causing life and magick to flower.

Willows at the waterside stand ready to help us to the Summerland.
Hawthorn is burned to purify and to draw faerie to your eye.

Hazel-the tree of wisdom and learning adds its strength to the bright fire burning.
White are the flowers of Apple tree that brings us fruits of fertility.

Grapes grow upon the vine giving us both joy and wine.
Fir does mark the evergreen to represent immortality seen.

Elder is the Lady's tree burn it not or cursed you'll be.
Four times the Major Sabbats mark in the light and in the dark.

As the old year starts to wane the new begins, it's now Samhain.
When the time for Imbolc shows watch for flowers through the snows.

When the wheel begins to turn soon the Beltane fires will burn.
As the wheel turns to Lamas night power is brought to magick rite.

Four times the Minor Sabbats fall use the Sun to mark them all.
When the wheel has turned to Yule light the log the Horned One rules.

In the spring, when night equals day time for Ostara to come our way.
When the Sun has reached it's height time for Oak and Holly to fight.

Harvesting comes to one and all when the Autumn Equinox does fall.
Heed the flower, bush, and tree by the Lady blessed you'll be.

Where the rippling waters go cast a stone, the truth you'll know.
When you have and hold a need, harken not to others greed.

With a fool no season spend or be counted as his friend.
Merry Meet and Merry Part bright the cheeks and warm the heart.

Mind the Three-fold Laws you should three times bad and three times good.
When misfortune is enow wear the star upon your brow.

Be true in love this you must do unless your love is false to you.

These Eight words the Rede fulfill:

"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
Brightest blessings.
No one in the world can alter truth. All we can do is seek it and live it.
