I wanted a symbol that struck balance between my future and my ancestors and maintained a link between the two.

I started with the Aspect symbol Quincunx as the base. It can mean, "inconjunct".

The ascending lunar node is wrapped onto that. For future.

Then the glyph of conjunction with a circle attached to create opposition.

So the Quincunx is the present. Ascending Lunar node the future, and Conjunction in opposition to future, is the past.

It also looks similar to the family symbol I use. Which I have modified to fit my family.

I was just curious if it struck a chord with anyone in particular.

That's quite beautiful. I haven't studied astrology very much. I only know a few basics. I need to start digging more so I can use these in work !

You could DEFINITELY incorporate these into healing , protection , etc work for yourself and family. It's like an astrological sigil.

I think these would be really good for light working . Placed under crystal grids. Working with higher beings and ascension work.

In theory both of those are my next tattoos.

Right below the elbow on the inside of my fore arms. Ancestors on the left, Family on the right. Every time I reach forward, either my ancestors or my family will be right there giving me strength.

Which is why I was hoping someone would have an interpretation.

I'd hate to get it inked and then find out that the symbol could also be an invitation for calamity or violence or something.
Symbols and sigils and words all have power and I believe that so you can't be too careful.

Yes I agree.! That's the best thing to do.

I've seen WAY too many people get symbols they know nothing about just because it looks cool.

The first tattoo I EVER did for someone was a medicine wheel. I wouldn't do it at first because the girl didn't know what it even meant. She finally contacted me and did research and then I agreed to do it. I didn't care that I needed to learn . I take my heritage seriously and hate when people just think " oh I like this because it looks pretty". But I'll try not to rant lol.

That symbol was made by you and has a good meaning. And you could do it many ways. Black for protection , negative space , etc. I think it's a beautiful idea.

This is my personal talisman.

I haven't seen another one like it. I bought it more than 20 years ago. It is a triple lotus ankh.

Looks good to me. I seem to have some serious old lady vision lately haha. It happened the second I turned 40. It's a conspiracy.
