The Moon conjoins Mars, just newly in Capricorn, lining up our feelings with our need to act. A lot can get accomplished today, so make the most of this energy. Yet work and accomplishment is not the only energy available to us. A trine between the Sun and Neptune continues the healing energies we encountered yesterday. The Sun illuminates our understanding around healing and the need for deep emotional connection. Step by step we climb.

The Capricorn Moon activates the Pluto/Uranus Square today beginning with an early morning conjunction to Pluto (just after midnight on the East Coast of the U.S.) and an early morning square to Uranus just before dawn, so sleeping may be challenging as these transpersonal and transformational energies connect to our emotional body. We face the day with a sense of immanent change, knowing in our bones that by the end of the day things won't be the same, yet not knowing what that exactly means. This can be distressing to us because when Moon is in Cap we feel most secure when we are in control of our situation. Instead of feeling as if you need to take on all the responsibility of any given situation, we need to ask for help and work with others to build foundations for the New Paradigm. For those used to being in total control this is a daunting task, yet for those who already think cooperatively this is the time they have been waiting for. Most people are somewhere in the middle of this, so look to your left, or look to your right, smile and offer a helping hand.

The Moon slips into Aquarius today. In Aquarius we are more group oriented, preferring the company of those who think the way we do. Once in Aquarius, the Moon squares the Sun in Scorpio. This is a first quarter crisis in action square. We feel the need to work with others for our very survival. Scorpio is about shared resources and Aquarius, distribution of those resources. Working together and being fair and equitable is the best way forward. With such disparity of wealth and multinational mega corporations calling all the shots, we the people are left high and dry. It's time for the people to take hold of their power and work together to make this world more fair. The Grass Roots are strong, let your voice be heard and your actions felt.

The Moon slips into dreamy Pisces this afternoon and conjoins Neptune as it does each month when the Moon is in Pisces. This always gives the day an otherworldly feel. Yet the real vibe of this day is one of opportunity. Opportunity to open the lines of communication between your left and right brains as Mercury sextiles Jupiter. A good day to talk about what is in your heart. There is also opportunity to reformulate your ideas on love and power and reformulate your ideology on how best to act in service to the greatest whole. The Pisces Moon makes some lovely aspects early. We have access to healing energy both in our personal relationships and culturally in the larger world. We can allow old ideologies about being powerless to dissolve away and take up a more empowered stand in our lives. An irritating inconjunct between the Moon and Jupiter can cause some stress, yet isn't long lasting. Some juicy tidbit can come out about someone in power that could cause an uproar. Don't allow yourself to get distracted by the fluff.

The Moon shifts from dreamy Pisces into action oriented Aries. So the beginning of the day has an otherworldly feel before we seem to get our druthers and start moving forward. There is challenges to our relationships as our need to be free comes up against our need to be desired. Jealousy and manipulation is possible. Do your best to be emotionally self reliant at this time. We have the opportunity to reformulate our relationship to power. Letting go of self-defeating ways of thinking, doing or being and embracing your own sense of authority.

The Moon in Aries is challenged today, feel the need to do something to change the power structures in our life and in our world. The need to share is at odds with the self-interest, yet ultimately we know we can't do it alone. Cooperation is a challenge yet a necessary learning curve. Don't let anger and frustration get you spinning your wheels, it helps no one, especially you. Take the action you feel is necessary while keeping in mind, no one is an island and whatever you see in others that is annoying, is something you don't accept in yourself.

The Moon shifts from active Aries to stabilizing Taurus. After a few days of fury, things start to calm down. Yet today is not without it's challenges as the Sun makes an irritating connection to Uranus. Uranus in Aries can be an explosive combination, this is illuminated by the Sun. Adjustments in how we put ourselves 'out there' in the world must be made. It's not that what we have to say, or what we represent isn't valid, it just needs to be put in a package that others can relate to. This takes humility and patience two qualities that Uranus in Aries doesn't possess! Caution is the better part of valor today.

The Moon is Full today in Taurus. The Taurus/Scorpio axis is the axis of Life and Death. Full Moons are times of awareness and we become what it's going to take to keep our boat afloat. A square from Jupiter in Leo can make us aware of the arrogance of certain leaders who feel they have a manifested destiny. A trine of Chiron to the Sun and a sextile to Chiron by the Moon keeps us aware of the issues of victimization. It's time to do it differently people, the sooner we wake up, the better.

The day begins with the Moon in Taurus. We are still well aware of our resources, the limitations of those resources and simultaneously the limitless potential of our resourcefulness. We are shoring up our emotions to take the necessary steps to build a life that actually works for us. By early evening the Moon slips into Gemini and the mood lifts. Going out with friends or family and keeping our conversations light will help us to communicate and have a little fun. Deep thoughts can wait for tomorrow.

The Moon in talkative Gemini has a tough time of it today, as our need to communicate to feel secure comes up against forces greater than us that have the power to shut us down. Yet this is only possible on the outside, on the inner planes no one can interfere with your thoughts. The planet of communication, Mercury moves into Scorpio, so we are well suited to keep our ideas to ourselves. This is not to say that our time to speak up won't come, it certainly will. Just don't get discouraged today.

Yet the story today is an interaction between two of the luckiest planets, Jupiter and Venus. We are driven to take actions to create foundations for our creativity.
