Omg. I'm drooling over this book.

Paganism, witchcraft, and Wicca as portrayed on TV, movies, and popular culture. Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Practical Magic, etc. If you know of a good show or movie, you can recommend it here or discuss it with others.

Omg. I'm drooling over this book.

Post by JuniperBerry »

I want this book soooo bad. But's it's $115.00! I'm gonna have to be an extra special girl for xmas and drop tons of hints to Mr. Berry.
The Gods we worship write their names on our faces; be sure of that. A person will worship something, have no doubt about that. We may think our tribute is paid in secret in the dark recesses of our hearts, but it will out. That which dominates our imaginations and our thoughts will determine our lives, and our character. Therefore, it behooves us to be careful what we worship, for what we are worshipping we are becoming.

- Ralph Waldo Emerson

As believers in the folk-religion we are studying, we seek after mysteries that expand the scope of our gods and our understanding of them, not reductionist theories that reduce them to manageable and socially productive "functions".

Thanks, but I don't have a printer and don't want to read online. There's nothing like curling up on the couch with a glass of wine and a book in your hands. :)

Wonder if ebay has a cheap copy?

Just thinking aloud. (Though slightly hurt that you don't care enough to do it for me. Kidding...)

And no, it isn't any cheaper there.

Check out AbeBooks.com, too. There may be a used copy available for less.

I'm starting to get used to my kindle app. I don't think I can get it on there any cheaper, though.
