It's too danged hot today. My witchy motivation is limited to adding sHungite stones to purify the drinking water in the jug in my refrigerator. It takes all the chemical taste and smell out.

Same here. The heat wipes me out. But come Fall, I'll be totally renewed.

I feel more inspired and so much more full of energy once Autumn comes, but because I'm a student I have more time to practice in the Summer. I usually just mess around with teas and stones this time of year.

The only thing during the summer I do is have full moon get-togethers. We will have a fire, light up incense and swim in our pool under the full moonlight. Our friends look forward to it and the kids howl at the moon and of course we eat!

Other than that...it's too hot!! I agree with the above poster....my spirit is more alive when Fall comes...which is usually around October in Texas.

The weather broke with 4 tornados. Holy moly, Batman.

Today It's crisp, bright and smells like autumn is coming. I rearranged my witchy hutch to make room for a half shelf of books. Put some things away for a while and brought out others. Crystals cleansed and reinstalled, and incense organized and all in one basket. Now, why didn't I do that sooner?

This weeks supposed to be hot. Can't wait to finally take the kids swimming.

Gonna clean and "smudge" (using incense sticks) the appartment today for motivation and well beeing.

Last night I stained my new altar table with water soluble oil paint, I added a bit of Summer Solstice charged water to the blend, It's a beautiful purple! And magically charged!

Spending the rest of the afternoon working on a few custom rune sets I need to get sent off, then upriver for a little bit of treasure hunting. So happy the tourism is dying down for the season.
