Dreaming of black & white kitten

So had dream i rescued a black& white kitten .. it was weird dream I was animal rights activist.
But what read the meaning of having dream of black & white kitten.
Means a long period of great sadness.. I know my mother is quite ill..
This may be her last year with us.
In some ways I'm coming to terms with it.
Anybody have theory about my dream.?

I have a black and white cat, quite young. She can be very sad, but also she is good at everything. Very talented little person. Look for the silver lining...

Since you felt the association with your mother being sick you already have your meaning. Cats tend to be viewed as moving from one side of the hedge to the other. The black and white leaves no room for doubt. And the cat being young means it's a new phase. The activist portion is off unless you are your mother's power of attorney and you may be starting to feel you are gong to have to be an activist for her. Making sure her wishes are honored. Very sorry to hear about your mother. It's a special relationship to lose, good or bad.

I don't think there's anything that literal, or negative- cats have wonderful energy and as a result are often targetted. I once dreamed our cat was trapped in a cotton reel which scared me. So I don't like seeing them in dreams really. I worry they're in pain.
Maybe a kitten represents fun, laughter, happiness. Rescue one, they're great!
