Ancestral Dream??

Post by GroundedDancer »

First off, before I get to the dream that I need help with, I want to apologize for how often I post my questions on this forum. I feel as though I constantly need help, and that it burdens everyone. I am fairly new to the path which I have begun to akwnowledge and explore, so I tend to round up questions. I question everything, because now that I'm aware, nothing seems coincidental or inconsequential. I have no one to pose my queries to in real life, and while I answer a lot of things on my own, I still need the help and guidance of others on this forum. It really is my only resource.

Anyway, I had a dream last night that is still pretty vivid. It wasn't one of my strongest dreams to shake me awake, but it felt pretty significant. I dreamt of a woman. She was standing in front of a council (or something similar) where they asked for a demonstration of her ability. She summoned a force of light that was staggering. It wasn't blinding, but it was as warm as fire. It surrounded her and danced above everyone present. Then she let it die away, and turned to one of the onlookers. She drew an orb of his personal darkness and negativity right out of him, and then drained it all until it was nothing but light and positivity. She did this to at least two people, and everyone watching was just in awe. They were surprised because they'd never seen anything or anyone as powerful as her. I got the feeling that she was there unwillingly, but wasn't so upset as to cause a violent escape or force her way out. I woke up before I could find out what happened to her, and not long after I woke up (fully and immediately I felt clear headed by the way), I heard faint whispers behind me. I thought the neighbors might be playing their music at full volume again, but they weren't. The house was quiet and nothing was on. My partner was fast asleep, not even snoring. The whispers persisted for a few minutes before everything quieted down.

I don't know whether it would make sense as a message from a Goddess? One of light perhaps? But why would a goddess be forced into a situation of displaying her ability to lesser-gifted individuals? But I feel it could also be something ancestral?

Reason: please be more descriptive in topic title. "Help" is not descriptive.

Dreams are a curious place. I must rush off to work so I hope some one else has some insight.

It sounds like a possible past life memory surfacing.

Maybe it could help to think of the dream as actors on a stage who are illustrating a story. The council and challenge is a stage setting. The action is summoning light that reveals inner darkness & transforms it to something positive. Would that apply to any situation in your immediate life? The dream could be saying take a look.

Each actor is a facet of yourself. The challenging council is your authoritative self and the awestruck onlookers are your socially correct self. The woman of power is the True you at the highest soul level. Each has a different perspective of the action. How does each view the woman and her use of power? The power itself? The results? All these things serve to illustrate the point being made by the action.

Voices might be a lingering effect of the consciousness traveling back from wherever it was at...sort of like having one foot on each side of the "hedge".

This actually is quite insightful. In more ways than one, thank you! :)

Don't know what to make of dreams. Some for sure are just random firing of neurons with no rhyme or reason but then ever so often a virtual dream experience happens that seems to elucidate something very meaningful. Having worked with remote influencing, dream time can become a blank slate to present an influential thought. Perhaps the Spirit realm also on occasion may influence us via a dream.

For some years now I am having dreams that are a continuing saga like a book of many chapters unfolding in some future time and am witnessing the reconstruction of civilization from collecting reusable, repairable artifacts to rebuilding basic industry to establishing a communal infrastructure , libraries, medical facilities, etc. I think about 5 years has past now and whoever or whatever we are is re-establishing a new beginning. Hope this isn't a snapshot of my next life. :(
