Running usually means fear....are you afraid of something regarding your practice or anything related to?
Try recalling the dream before falling asleep and repeat to yourself that you are going to join their circle. If it works,see the outcome of it.

It seems reasonable to resist when someone is pulling. If you were to think of the circle as that part of your desire to be Wiccan (if that is the case), and the resistance as that part of you which may feel it's being forced without it's doubts being recognized, or some sense of coercion...? What would that be? Like BW said, some unresolved fear. What you said about deeling that you are "Denying your self by refusing" is a potent observation. You just have to sort out what you refused. BW gave a good suggestion to re-do the dream and change your response to see where it goes.
