Are strange nightmares common this time of year?

Are strange nightmares common this time of year?

Post by Newbiewitch94 »

Merry meet all.
Since the Mercury retrograde started, for the past 2 nights I've been having some strange nightmares. The first one, 2 nights ago was giant spiders chasing me (I'm scared of spiders) and then last night I dreamt a shadowy mass was chasing me. Anyone got any ideas why right now I'd be having these dreams?

Good golly, I was just having this same conversation a day ago; that as autumn revs up so do my dreams and they hold strong through Spring Equinox. The subconscious dream-factory energy flows with the toning down of the active natural cycles through autumn and winter. Psychic interaction with the other-side picks up the beat. Maybe there is less frequency cross current, less competition, less background noise, as the life cycles of green things slows down and goes dormant.

As for retrograde fusing with chase scenarios ... Shrug. Are you avoiding the retrograde forces?

Hmm, there was a solar eclipse on September 1st. Maybe residual from that?

Thank you, and I wouldn't say I am running from stuff or at least I don't think I am.

I had some very strange dreams last night. I can't remember them, but maybe there's something to the idea that the time of year is to blame.

I had one in which I was reading "Hekate's Herbal" and discussing it with my guide. Now I feel there should be a real book with that title. I checked websites so far. Maybe it's an astral book?

I've been having some horrible dreams myself lately.

Samhain is just around the corner, and the fall equinox.
Lady stir your cauldron well, chant your words and sing your spell
Come and taste of the cauldron's brew and magic she will give to you

Monday night, I dreamed that one of the supervisors at work decided to do all the new nurse training from her house. She hired an Asian bodyguard named Victor to keep people away so she could have some peace and quiet.

That's strange. I often have nightmares and dream of things chasing me. But somehow, lately, I don't have that kinda dreams anymore. Especially this week and last week, I kept dream of white snow/white water, or somewhere that's clean and cold. And I have dream of a lot of people in weird customs talking to me about things I don't understand. Hmm, apparently, our dreams are the exact opposite. :flyingwitch:

My equinox dreams are always bizarre. Last nite, for example, I dreamed I was moving house...appropriate for the time of year, I'd say, with Seasonal alignments...and that I found a dream come true, fist-sized slab of MOLDAVITE...a stone of changes.

Not to mention that in today's mail my ouija-board printed bed-throw arrived! Perfect timing for a medium!

That's hilarious!!! Last night I has a dream Cody was force feeding me pickles.

With the changing of the seasons, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if everyone's dreams get a little funky.

I've been having crazy dreams for about a month now. None of them involved involuntary pickle ingestion.

OK now these dreams are just getting silly
Last night I dreamt I was being chased around a house by spirits which looked like a cross between old men and the green goblin from spiderman
