Everything Under the Moon

During a sleep paralysis episode there was an unfamiliar white cat laying on me, can anyone tell me what this means or what it was? Does anyone usually see animals near them when they have an OBE or astral project?

The white cat could possibly have been one of your spirit guides close by, in the past mine was a wolf, apparently my wolf has come back lately although I did ask the spirits for protection.
