Can others know that you are dreaming about them?

I was reading something a while back that mentioned something about people that you dream about being able to know that you were dreaming about them. I found this kind of weird but then again I did not rule it out either.

Are we able to know that someone was dreaming about us? If so how?

I am always curious about dreams and how they work but after reading this it got me more and more interested in whether or not this could be true. If so could our dreams just be only what we know or could others know about them too and not tell us?

Castaneda says you can share dreams, so I don't see why not.

That is interesting, I have a lot of dreams about a lot of people, usually people who are on my mind a lot if something is happening in their lives and such so it is nice to know that people can know that you are dreaming about them because it is a way for them to see that you are thinking about them.
