Tough Enough

Post by planewalker »

Look at the stars to see my eyes,
just watch for them in the night skies.
Hear my voice whispering on the breeze.
While you listen, watch the beauty of the sun rise.
I'm always here. You've always known.
This path we travel, we make our own.

I see how far you've come.
All the work that you have done.
The flame so bright,
enthusiastically you pursue your goal.
The clear and piercing light,
it shows me how old and gentle is your soul.

I won't be someone who walks away.
You know that I have come to stay.
I promise I'll make a difference.
All the difference I can make.
We teach each other the way,
to use our gifts better every day.

And even when you need some space,
We'll carry on at the same pace.
I'll see all that you have found,
on the hunt, with bounding hound.
We both know the others ways.
Both of us are sure we're worth it.

We're both here to stay.
Never truly going a separate way.
You will always be with me.
Even when the storm grows nigh
and the road gets rough.
You know that we are both tough enough.

I am giving you all my love.
We see the beauty in each others souls.
In the strongest wind we don't break, we bend.
we are living in a story that has no end.
You've reminded me of who I am and who I'm not.
We're both so lucky for all that we have got.
