Hello everyone.
I'm Cass. I live in the Midwest (U.S.), am 56 years old, and am married with one child. I've been homeschooling my daughter, now 17, for the last ten years.
I'm a new witch; I would classify myself as eclectic. My daughter is interested in witchcraft as well.
We live in an extremely rural area with no other homeschoolers close by. I'd be shocked if I found another witch living in this town. The people are very close-minded and have problems wrapping their minds around homeschooling. Their heads would explode if they knew we were practicing witches.
I've identified as Atheist for at least the last 10-15 years. I was raised with some religion, but I never felt comfortable with it. My daughter and I like the concept of the nature-based religion of Wicca.
