I'm reintroducing myself properly today. I joined two years ago, but I was in such a bad place that all I could focus on was my problem! It took over my entire being for so long. In short, I was seeking guidance on how to deal with a rescue dog who had fear aggression and guarding behaviour. He bit me and my bf and it was killing my spirit because not only did I not know how to help him...I didn't know how to help ME! That was in 2015. 2016 and the first half of 2017 were rough for me but I'm trying to be stronger and deal with those issues.
You all gave me excellent support and advice back in 2015, and I don't know why I stopped coming here...in any case, I'm back.
As the Equinox is approaching, and all seems to be well at home now, I feel my spirit restoring itself slowly but surely and it's a wonderful feeling!I don't want to focus on negative anymore. I'm happy to report our little dog now never bites us, he trusts us, and he loves us...and we love him to bits right back.
I want to feed my spirit and my Paganism and my heart by participating in this forum and enjoying some wonderful conversations! If I have something to give back, I want that as well. My spirit is something I've let go when I should have been relying on it more! Lesson learned!
