Spell to connect to some one dear

Materials:
Paper
Pen/Pencil
*Image of lost friend/family member or a drawing of the person you wish to connect with
Red Ribbon


On the paper write your wish of who you want to reconnect with.

If you have a picture you wish to use place the paper and the picture together, if not draw an image on the paper under your wish.

Fold the paper and the image up and wrap the ribbon around the string.

as you wrap the ribbon state:

"By roads distant
By past shared
Two hearts once divided
Now become united"


Repeat the phrase over and over until the folded image and wish are completely covered by the ribbon.

Keep the bundle near you as often as possible

I tried it once and I wasn't able to connect with the person, but I was able to learn more about and connect more with my actual ancestral roots instead. So depending on how you look at it the spell did work. I am going to try and rework and do the spell again another time this time with a few different changes including using an actual photo as well as graveyard dirt. I also plan on looking into some mundane things I can do to make the connection work more.

I wrote it from the heart and put all my emotions into it. Like I said I wasn't actually able to connect to the person on the first use of this spell. However I was able to start filling in the parts of me that were missing because this person has not been in my life. That is the connection to my deep ancestors. So it did work. Now I have a stronger connection and can try a slightly different approach to make the spell even better.

Now that doesn't mean it wont work like this for any one else. I just needed to share my experience with the spell myself. There are many different relationships out there that could be rekindled or sparked through a spell like this. Thats why its basically open ended.

There are a few more additions and changes I am going to try to make this more powerful. Though this time I am also going to target some one I can remember a bit more to try and work it a bit more. My original target was my biological mother who I have no real idea how to find at all. So trying a friend I've been missing and thinking about might be more effective.

Plus I have a photo I wouldn't mind using for this as well where as with for my biological mother I drew a photo rather than use the only photo I have which is on my ancestral altar.
