My cat caught a mouse yesterday and was eating it but my dog chased him away and ate the cat's mouse!
Oh such an injustice and that's how the world works
I think cats are much to intelligent to want to dominate the world. Besides they have lots of fun putting us through our paces. Mine lets me live in her house since I feed her and change her litter and lavish attention on her.
It does make a nice change in our overly polarized society. I like to spend some time there. I'm just one of those weird people who has trained myself to not be bothered by our society, such as it is. Maybe it's because I have so much fun trying to get people to change it. Someday I might even get somebody in a position of power to listen to me. It's not like I'm going to hold my breath though. I don't think I'd look good as a Smerf.
Well, I am not demonstrative and would hazard a guess that generally people assume that I am not happy- certainly not one with those huge grins all the time. I have many reasons to be very happy in life, but even so, I would say I am content. Being content is sustainable to me, highlighted by moments of happiness.
