Hi Foxface,

I've completed your reading using a very simple 6 rune Cross Spread. Just please keep in mind that this is only my interpretation of the runes, so if you feel there may be an alternative or further meaning than what I've presented to you hear, by all means, go with your intuition. :)

The first rune represents you in the present, at the center of the cross, and here I drew Jera :yearrune:, the yearrune. Jera, I believe, is a reminder to you that positive, lasting changes in your life are only the result of patience and significant effort. Therefore, it's important for you not to try and force quick, snappy changes that you aren't ready for. Individual growth occurs in natural cycles, so it's best to take advantage of opportunities as they present themselves.

The second rune represents how the past influences the present, and here I drew Mannaz :manrune:, the manrune. You've taken steps in the past towards self-understanding, because you know that finding the root of your fears is how you'll conquer them and achieve balance. You spent a great deal of time on this, and therefore tend to know when the opportunities indicated by Jera are in front of you. You're well prepared and well on your way to achieving this desire.

The third rune represents the potential future, and here I drew Perthro :gamerune:, the dicerune. You are only able to alter that which you are aware of, and thus it's vitally important for you to look inwardly with clear, probing eyes. Ask yourself how fear has shaped your present and how it will shape your future if you don't get a handle on it. But also keep in mind that you aren't fated to be ruled by your fears, and that while you can't change the past, or necessarily dig out their roots, you can know them, and thus direct how they will grow, or wither, in the future.

The fourth rune represents the foundation of your situation, and here I drew Thurisaz :thornrune:, Thor's rune. Thurisaz is a rune that encourages self-empowerment. You have the capability, and the strength, to make the necessary changes as you need to in your life. Combine self-awareness with will, and be certain that you are willing to undergo the journey of peering into yourself. Keep in mind that once you start down that road, you will have to see it through if you don't want to start all the way over at the beginning again.

The fifth rune represents the challenges you will face and here I drew Tiwaz :tyrrune:, Tyr's rune. Finding balance won't be an easy task, and it will require a great deal of self-sacrifice on your part, particularly your time. You may have to give up on some things that you enjoy for a little while as you try to figure yourself out. It will also be very helpful to you to ground and center yourself often, because it honestly does take a certain amount of balance already established in order to achieve overall balance in one's life.

The sixth rune represents the probably outcome, and here I drew Sowilo :sunrune:, the sunrune. Sowilo is associated with wholeness, and achievement, so I think this is a very positive indication that you'll succeed. Have faith that you will accomplish your goals, and in yourself. Once you achieve understanding, take advantage of the opportunities indicated in Jera, and take action. By doing so, you'll move yourself further forward along your path.

I hope this was helpful for you! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about your reading!

Bright Blessings,
~Heartsong

(P.S. ReikiCat, I'll have your reading completed and up by tomorrow night!)

Hi ReikiCat!

I've completed your reading using a simple 6 Rune Cross Spread. Just please keep in mind that this is only my interpretation of the runes so if you feel there may be an alternative or further meaning than what I've presented to you hear, by all means, go with your intuition. :)

The first position represents you, and your present circumstances, and here I drew Nauthiz :needrune:, the needrune. I believe that it reflects your current need for financial stability, and is a reminder that you must take action in order to fulfill this need. Nauthiz encourages courage and wisdom in the face of lacking necessities in life. It is also a possible indication that previous choices you made could very well have led you towards your present predicament.

The second position represents how the past impacts the present and here I drew Mannaz :manrune:, the manrune. From its presence in the spread, I believe that Mannaz suggests that at some point, you may have placed faith in a person who let you down. This was a person on whom you were reliant in many ways, but particularly financially. Now, you must take control and find a way out of the situation this person has left you in. Don't allow a past mistake to take away your confidence in yourself, or your faith in others. You're perfectly capable of taking care of yourself, but remember that there are people in your life who you can rely on, and who can help you move through this difficult period in your life.

The third position is the potential future, and here I drew Eihwaz :horserune:, the horserune. You are going to have a hard time making a decision on a course of action to take, or what job to accept. This person from your past really did a number on your self-confidence, and has thus made it hard for you to make the best of the circumstances you've found yourself in. You're bitter and hurt, and while that's understandable, its hindering you from eventually moving forward and improving your financial situation.

The fourth position is the foundation of your situation, and here I drew Berkana :birchrune:, the birchrune. You've made some significant changes in your life, especially in regards to moving on with your life and becoming independent. You're a naturally shy person, and a little timid, which has also made it hard for you to work up the courage to approach people to find a job. Despite your previous experience with the person indicated by Mannaz, it is in truth this aspect of your personality that has worked the most against you in seeking employment and a solution. Again, I believe that the runes are really encouraging you to have more faith in yourself, and to not base all of your interactions on the single, past encounter that ended so badly for you. I get the sense that you've experienced a lot of personal growth recently, so I think that, whether consciously or not, you've already begun to take steps to come out of your shell and work hard to overcome your natural shyness.

The fifth position is the challenge you will face, and here I drew Tiwaz :tyrrune:, Tyr's rune. Finding a balance between your desires and your needs is going to be difficult for you as well. Tiwaz is, to me, an encouragement for you to set down your priorities, and to furthermore make sure that you are putting yourself first for a little while. You need to achieve some personal balance before you can focus on others. Also, keep in mind that there will be some self-sacrifices that will have to be made before you can either achieve that balance or your goals.

The sixth position is the most likely outcome, and here I drew Jera :yearrune:, the yearrune. Jera is a rune of cycles, and gradual change. So I believe that this is a positive indication that this period of financial trouble will pass, and that, after hard labor and a great deal of patience, you will reap the fruits of prosperity and peace. It will absolutely take some time, though. Long lasting change can't happen over night, but it will happen.

I hope this was helpful for you! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about your reading. Good luck!

Bright Blessings,
~Heartsong

I would really love a rune reading if you have the time. I am trying to understand some situations that are going on ( mainly job, health, and if moving is also a possibility ) in my life right now.

Hi Epithymia,

I've completed your reading using a simple 6 Rune Cross Spread. Just please keep in mind that this is only my interpretation of the runes so if you feel there may be an alternative or further meaning than what I've presented to you hear, by all means, go with your intuition. :)

The first position represents you in your present circumstances, and here I drew Ing :ingrune:, the seedrune. Ing is the rune of gestation, growth, and stored energy. So I believe that for you, it means that you're currently in a 'holding pattern' in terms of your life, the time right before you make some major changes. You're in preparation to take action, but in order to do so, you realize that you're going to have to let several past things go, and make way for the new chapter in your life. Thus, I think Ing is telling you to be sure that you're living entirely in the present if you want these changes to be not only good for you in the long term, but also if you want them to last.

The second position represents how the past affects the present and here I drew Thurisaz :thornrune:, Thor's rune. Something traumatic happened to you in the past which has made you hesitant, not only to trust others, but yourself, and your ability to better your own circumstances. Shields that you had placed around yourself for protection were broken, and you've had a difficult time moving past it. I also get the impression that you had begun something important for yourself in the past, like getting an education or moving on from an old relationship (something to that effect), and that in order to keep moving forward, it would do you well to finish what you started.

The third position represents how the future will likely unfold for you if you continue as you presently are, and here I drew Laguz :lakerune:, the lakerune. Laguz, in many respects, is the rune of the unconscious, and the exploration of it in order to learn deeper truths about ourselves. Frequently, that means delving into a past that we would rather forget. Laguz's presence in the spread suggests to me that it is an encouragement for you, to learn to master your emotions concerning your past in order to shape your future, instead of allowing that past to shape it for you. The future is made in the present, and while we have no control over the past from that standpoint, we can control how much dominance we will allow it to have in our lives. Laguz, I think, is encouraging you to "take the plunge", to both allow yourself the chance to deal with your past trauma and to allow yourself to let it go, so that you can begin building a future free of fear and trepidation.

The fourth position represents the foundation of your situation, and here I drew Wunjo :joyrune:, the joyrune, and it was inversed. Wunjo is not a very complicated rune, and at its heart, is symbolic of the shared joy we have in our relationships, with others, and with our circumstances. From the position of Wunjo in this spread, I believe that you feel a lack of joy, not only in where you are in life, but also a lack of meaningful relationships. You feel as though you're in a rut, or even backpedaling a little, and this is a major driving force in your desire for change.

The fifth position represents the challenge(s) you will face in accomplishing your goals, and here I drew Tiwaz :tyrrune:, Tyr's rune. Developing faith in yourself, and that the changes you make will turn out well, is going to be very difficult for you. To have that faith, for you, is a kind of self-sacrifice, because you'd have to allow yourself a certain amount of trust. Therefore, I see Tiwaz as a further encouragement to you to be fair to yourself, to have courage in yourself, and to find inner balance. You are more than capable of taking care of yourself, and of making sure that your life will follow that path that you want it to. You are brave, and strong, and, honestly, all you need is a little more confidence. :)

The sixth position represents the probable outcome if you heed the advice of the runes, and here I drew Hagalez :hailrune:, the hailrune. The changes that you aim to make in your life, including moving, health changes, financial changes, will very likely come to pass, and will be good changes for you. Hagalez indicates completion, inner harmony, and long-term balance. So, I really do think that Hagalez's presence is a very positive sign that everything is going to work out for you, given time, patience, and effort.

I hope this was helpful for you! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about your reading. :)

Bright Blessings,
~Heartsong

Thank you so much for the reading , and yes it made me tear up a little. I have had quite a few traumatic events happen in my life and each one of them ( it feels like) took a part of me. I tend to hold on to feelings, mostly anger, which is very harmful to my well being. I have thought about going to college but again have doubts with it since I am concerned I will fail. My self confidence is very lacking and I need to have more faith in myself. It's almost like I KNOW I can do whatever I put my mind to but then I start thinking what if I fail, what if I let myself down, what if I can't. This has put a lot of things into prospective for me,and I can't thank you enough for taking the time to help me see.

Lovely! If you could do a reading for me, I would really appreciate that. :) The topic would be relationships and if you could PM it to me, that would be great.

Thank you in advanced for doing this! And there's no rush.

EDIT;
Is there any other information you need?

I'd be happy to. And no, I don't need anything else, but thank you for offering. I prefer knowing as little as possible going into a reading. :)

I should have it to you in a few days!
