Hey Snow, where's Grumpy Cat?
I love the tabby too; it looks like it is ready to sneeze:-)

Some of us who follow Feral Cat Ministry on Facebook have changed profile pics or avatars to honor and remember YAR. He is the patriarch of the feral colony, and was called home to the Rainbow Bridge in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

YAR spent the last couple of years of his life in the house with the colony caretaker. He would go out every morning to greet his colony and supervise the feeding. He was loved and didn't suffer.

Feral cats are a real problem in my area. Too many people abandon their cats. They don't spay or neuter their outdoor cats, and they leave the kittens to fend for themselves. As a result are way too many suffering feral cats all around. Still they are more capable of surviving then abandoned children. This doesn't excuse it however. If you have a cat, it should be treated like family, not abandoned.
