Farewell ChinChin

Post by blue_moon »

After two weeks of medication and great hope our dear cat chinny was put down this morning.

We were hoping he'd be fine, but after a bad tooth was pulled the doctor found a huge tumor in his jaw.

He was 17 already and had a good life. After a bad accident when he was only two years old nobody would have taught he would grow this old.

We will be missing our gentle old man...

I'm very sorry for your loss Blue moon, for the whole family. Our pets are so precious.
You have a nice memorial there at his grave.
Blessings to ChinChin.

I really miss my cat. Had the idea of digging him up again... as if I would have him back *lol - was a thought before I fell asleep.

He must have been in pain. I'm happy for him he doesn't have to suffer any longer. And I'm glad I was able to take him back home and bury him in the garden where he grew up.

The kids collect stones feathers and flowers for him wherever they go. My middle one (in the picture) as specially.

Thank you guys <3
The kids are less sad now and understand he's still with us.
We're taking special care of the space around his grave now making it a special place to visit. (I think that also helped my son with his grief).
