It was probably one of the first five books I read as well, and a recommendation for anyone initially interested in solitary pagan witchcraft. Scott was friends with some well known influential Neopagan authors, who he also trained and circled with, but found more solace working alone, (could've had a lot to do with politics with Wicca at the time), and this book contains a lot of his practices for that.
