Grove daughter Witchery

Post by SpiritTalker »

I just got this book Grovedaughter Witchery - Practical Spellcraft by Bree NicGarran and I wish I'd had it 20 years ago for secular spell crafting. It's informative & well organized for easy reference. I got it from Amazon's used books for about $5. Normally lists new at $18.95. As the title would suggest it's a practical no-frills approach of home grown charms and spells and advice.

The back panel reads... "For the witch whose town is devoid of occult shops and covens, learning the Craft can be a daunting task indeed". Supermarket substitutions are well covered.

There are 208 pages. Pg 11-20 is practical advice, Pg 21-34 is mixed tips, wards, Pg 35-68 is a tutorial, Pg 69-104 is charms, pg 105-160 is a formulary of powder, incense, oil and potions. Excellent correspondence lists & index of spells & materials by purpose.
