So this is a little late, but I haven't changed it yet so what the hey!
I was struggling with a proper Imbolc altar; I knew the things that should go on it, but nothing felt true to me at the time. I was meditating at the altar space when it hit me- the energies that I had been looking to incorporate into my life were those of Aphrodite. It seemed appropriate.
The necklace bottle and blue-handled seeing glass within the water-filled chalice is part of a charm that was charged during some spellwork in her honor. Included on the altar are rose petals, sea shells, a porous ocean-worm rock to hold rose incense, rose quartz, a white candle, and a pink candle. The layering of cloths is to represent the layers of the sea shore.
It's particularly peaceful to stand in front of.
