Very helpful!

This might be 'sticky' worthy!

lmfao Yall didnt have to sticky it
And its so put together 'cus I literally plan out the posts about a week in advance and write it out and explain everything so when I type it out I only have to fix one or two things, that and it takes a few days to find pics that match up to what I think about.
I plan on going to my cousins job and showing off some altars that they have set up as 'quite places/meditation spaces' for people to sit at. I thought it was cool and most don't even know that they are called meditation spaces by the staff so I thought I would show them off. Just have to get time to go over and search around and take pics. Till then I think I'm just getting the creative juices flowing now that I am finally moved and can get to making more post again >< .

Wow this is a great thread! I don't actually have to hide any altars, but I really like simple altars. I would love to do stuff like this around our place. I've done some similar to a few, however I never really thought of them as being an altar. I don't really share my beliefs, so I'd rather not have ones that scream altar. Plus I don't really have much space right now. So thank you for your ideas!!!

My family has actually set up memorial altars without realizing. It kind of makes me smile. :)

I just wanted to post these here as a reminder for everyone to always be on the look out for altar things even in the most unexpected places. These two statues were found at PetSmart in the fish section for things to put in a fish tank. They were amazingly detailed and great I actually plan on going back later and getting the Elephant for my Artemis altar.

Thank you so much for these tips and pictures.

I've been wanting to build a small altar in my house, butI don't want to draw everyone's attention to it.
So far I keep all my candles and incenses in a small table in the living room, but I want to add a few things. The pictures are really inspiring :)

I just stumbled upon a site that shows an artist creating amazing diaramas inside ring boxes. Perhaps a ring box could be used like an altoid tin as a portable or hidden altar.
