Cernunnos statuette demanded to be bought

Post by TamaNyan »

At the renaissance faire a few weeks ago me and ThunderFog felt drawn to a magick shop. Merlins Cauldron or something of the sort was the name. Once there we bought several books but as we were leaving, I got the feeling I needed to look at the statuettes in a display case. One called to me and I had to get it. We went back to the store before we left the faire and bought it. The whole time carrying it around the faire, both me and ThunderFog had headaches and just overall felt ill. Once home, it seems to have calmed but we still feel a disgruntled feeling from it occasionally, especially when a relative of ThunderFogs held it.
The statuette is apparently of Cerrunos but it doesn't feel... right?

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Cernunnos statuette demanded to be bought

The statue may have been ill-used by some by-passer as a prank & called out to be rescued. You heard it.

Cover it with a mix of soil & salt & state: I cleanse you with Earth
Wash or wipe down: I cleanse you with Water
Pass it above flame: I cleanse you with Fire
Fume it with smoke of sage & rosemary: I cleanse you with Air
Say: You (item) now stand free of all former charges & attachments.

This is in the reverse order of circle casting i.e., can be used to banish
Then bless it by anointing with oil to hold a new charge & magnetize it with your energy to refill the void & prevent outside influence.

Just a thought - You seemed a bit unsure of the statuette's I.D. so are you sure it's Cernunnos & not Baphomet? Google images of each if you don't know.

The bottom of it says Cerrunos but I don't feel as if it is nor Baphomet but I may be wrong.

I'll have to discuss banishing with Thunder further.ImageImage

It's definitely Cernunnos. Baphomet has both female breasts & male phallus, & goat head. But is seated similar to the Gunderstrop Cern.

Look up the Gunderstrop bowl. The image of Cernunnos has horns, holds the torc & snake, and is surrounded by animals. Your statue has the same symbols & the artist expresses the sheer vitality of the god-force.

Aye, the work of Maxine Miller, I won the wall plaque of Cerridwen... Her SO was vending at Pagan Pride this year, so my raffle ticket paid off!! Her art is amazing.
If you are sensing negativity it could be the many hands that have been upon it for who knows how long, in addition these resin casts are mass produced in China or some other where so the thing has been on a journey. The cleansing Spirit described should do it.
How's the energy now?
