Shrine for Cernunnos

Just thought I'd share something interesting that popped up during a scroll through Facebook.
There is druid sanctuary in Washington, they have alters dedicated to different gods and goddesses. There newest project is an shrine to the god Cernunnos. I'm excited because this is my chosen god, but I live in the uk which is a bummer, oh well.

Oh yeah! The druid sanctuary is at Trout Lake Abby, and is run by the current Archdruid of ADF, the Rev. Kirk Thomas. There's also a Zen center on the grounds, as well as a bed and breakfast and an organic farm. Cascadia Grove, the Seattle chapter of ADF (of which I am a member) often makes trips down there for the rituals they do there - I've yet to go, but I'm going to try and make it for Imbolc. But anyway, the crowdfunding of the Cernunnos Shrine (now closed) was being spearheaded by Cascadia Grove, as part of their transition from being a proto-grove to a full fledged grove. I don't know if we're going to aid in the building of it or what - I should pay better attention at meetings, I guess; but anyway, I'll update this thread if I'm privy to any updates on the shrine.

Ohhh please do Yex! Glad too see someone with good knowledge about this place! We dont have anything like that in the uk which is a real bummer but its noce to see the faith is growing elsewhere

Here's a blog post with the most recent developments on the construction of the Cernunnos shrine. You can also check out some of the other posts in that blog to learn about some of the other stuff at White Mountain Druid Sanctuary, including some shrines to other Celtic deities. I think that blog is updating pretty regularly now, so tune in for further updates (I'll try to post them here, too).

You can also make donations to the building effort on Patreon. There are a variety of gifts that you can receive for donating different amounts, including t-shirts, a brick that you can dedicate with an inscription that will appear near the shrine, and more.
