It's named after st. Ivan of Rila mountain, which is the highest mountain on the Balkan Peninsula. And yes, it's an interesting place to visit. But the Seven lakes of Rila are more interesting if you ask me

And yes, the only country besides Scotland that has people who play bagpipes is Bulgaria, although ours are quite a bit different. And we also have 2 different kinds of bagpipes - djurah and kabbah whre the kabbah is with lower tone and has this very very specific sound.
