pest deterrant...
Am I remembering right ???
Is it a line of salt or baking soda you put down to keep
the ants at bay ??? They keep finding my "patio cat's"
food, right now it's up on a short stool and he has
found it so I'm not worried about that.
Hubby's talking about spraying out there, but I don't
want that poison anywhere near the patio. That's all
I need is for one of the fur-babies getting it on their
paws and have to clean it off !
I would appreciate any and all answers/thoughts
or whatever !

...and then I remembered what my Mom did.
She put the food dish inside of another full
of water, duh dummy !

I don't know about salt/soda. I use a dropper to dribble peppermint oil. It's working. I have a feral mom cat & kitten that summon me at dawn, I mean that I'll feed. Uh-hem.

The food dish sitting in cheap pie pan with water is working,
I knew it would because it worked for my Mom !
My stray cat, Jake, came in the house tonight for a few
minutes...until my female came out of the bedroom and
lowly growled at him. Knock me over with a feather !
