Leaves and stems?

I've currently got a few different herbs laid out dryin naturally and once dry going to crumble them and store them for spells my question is do u just use the leaves or can I crumble the leaves and stems?
Any help would be appreciated bb X

I'd say leaves. You'll end up taking out the stems most likely.

I find it differs depending on what the herbs are. Some have hard woody stems that give off a different energy, and others have brittle stems that are almost a part of the leaves and share their properties.
