Magical plants in your garden

Post by SilverWort »

Your magical plants grow in your garden? I like to grow my own plants, not only for magical purposes, but I want to know if you grow your own plants for magical purposes and what kind of plants. This is my actual list, updated with pictures.

- Incense plant flowers:

- Rosemary: A little cutting waiting for spring.

- Wild Savory:

- Wild Strawberry: Look at that little flower!

- Wormwood: A pretty plant with strong scent.

- Thyme
- Mugwort
- Sage
- Mandrake
- Yarrow
- Marshmallow
- Mint
- Peppermint
- Valerian
- Verbain (grows spontaneously in my pots)
- Bay Tree
- Apple Tree
- Hypericum (waiting for spring)
- Dandelion (waiting for spring)

It's a diverse and functional garden, plants are potted, except mints and a few more, and pass winter in a greenhouse. In fact, I have fresh herbs almost all year.

Definitely, I have to post some pictures. Please, show your magical plants too or post a list.

Since I only have a balcony I sort of plant to little outside plants.

I have a basil plant (blooming since june/juli)
I had a thyme (but I'm afraid it won't come back again. Had to cut it back completely)
I had calendula - hopefully again
Oregano

Want to get rosemary and sage. Have two cuttings - maybe they'll root.

Lemontrees

I took a cutting from witchhazle. Maybe I'm lucky - if not I'll retry in spring.

I have two moringa plants, aloe veras, various succulents, orchids, passiflora, 2 different peppermints and lemonbalm...

It's possible, protect it from freezing. Not possible if it was rosemary.

*lol
I guess your write... I have quite alot of plants... and in summertime I keep about 80% out on my balcony (I love setting out there with our awning (is this right!?!?) Up amongst all my green)

But there are so many more on my list. I'd love to have a magnolia or lilac out there and blueberries (or raspberries). Think next year I'll plant salad and zucchini again -
