Greetings all!
For four years, my Garden space went unused, due to 2 bad knees, and a bad hip (thanks Mom). I decided to give it a shot to get it ready for next year. The local "Tree Butchers" were in the neighborhood clearing branches from powerlines. Being the nosy cuss that I am, I enquired what they did with all of the chipped material. They told me they had to haul it about 20 miles to a spot where they could dump it. They told me they could not dump it until the truck was full, but if I wanted that much, I could have it! On Monday I came home to a HUGE (10'x12'x7') pile of chipped branches, leaves and limbs put right where they said they would!
2016 garden season, here I come!

Well, I'm quite jealous of you! Mulch, when you need several bags of it is quite pricey and to get that nice thick layer ( so the weeds to pop through), one bag doesn't go very far. We're about to buy more mulch to get our lovely plants ready for winter.

Sounds like a real treat!! and it helped them out as they would of had to haul it so far away.
