Drying out herbs to use

How do I take my herbs and dry them out for use? I thought that just by putting them in the freezer and crumbling them, they would dry, but apparently not.

All you can do is leave them out flat to dry if you crumbled them. You can bundle and hang them until dry too.

You can bundle and hang them until dry too.

This is what I do. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight though. Otherwise the essential oils will evaporate along with the plant moisture
