Help with seizures/epilepsy?

Hi, so a couple days ago I had a seizure. It was the most terrifying day of my life and I want to do everything in my power to prevent it from happening again. My cat scan came back clean and I have an MRI scheduled next Tuesday but with my family history it's probably going to be epilepsy and not a tumor or anything. But I still want to take steps outside of modern medicine to try to prevent a seizure from coming on again, along with whatever my doctor recommends. Does anyone have any knowledge on what herbs or teas or brews or anything that might help? Please and thank you.

Did they ever figure out what was going on?
I'm sorry but I really don't know of herbs to help seizures, valerian come to mind, but herbs can mess with meds, if they gave you any medication I would check with the pharmacist first.

Yeah turns out I have a brain aneurysm. Its small tho. I see a neurologist next month to see if I need surgery or not.
