Here's a tad bit of information for you guys, especially my fellow desert dwellers.

Tumbleweeds- can be used where Thistle or any other thorny bush is called for. Used for prtection, purification, health and banishing.
Creosote- Used for rain magick (the leaves of the plant, when rubbed, smell like rain), especially rain besoms and rain wands or drum sticks if you use a drum to bring rain, warding (a protection charm that goes near the entrance and rear of your property, usually accompanied by a sigil), protection, purification and healing.
