Ravencry, I had no idea someone else was out there who wanted to be an herbalist and get a degree in herbalism! I thought for sure I was one of VERY VERY few. I suppose I am, but I never met someone interested in it.

There are specific schools that specialise in herbalism, and the best part is that most of them have huge, huge gardens and are in the wild

Which is exactly what I am looking for! However, I will probably have to give up my preference to live somewhere cold for obvious reasons. I once talked to an herbalist/acupuncturist on a cruse of mine and she told me I should use the exchange program and go to China for a few years to study there where it is more prominent. I think that would be a formidable idea, or going to Ecuador to visit my parents and studying there.
