While this is really fascinating, I am not too happy to have artificial objects further confusing the night sky. I'd love to have my constellations show without distractions :-) But it can't be helped.

The stargazers are definitely up in arms about this, and I think they're having to tone it down quite a bit, But seriously don't we have enough space junk floating around already? Who's going to go grab all the satellites that have out worn their batteries or intelligence? It's really a mess out there.

Well if it wasn't for starlink the Ukrainians would have completely lost internet service, and recently another group of starlink satelites was moved to give internet service to someplace else that was in need. Elon Musk, at least, is trying to make the world a better place. He's the closest thing we will ever get to a Tony Stark. Branson or Bezos could be doing stuff like this too, but they are just playing around compared to Musk.
