Everything Under the Moon

Hurry your days are limited, (you have like 2 or 3 good viewing days left) have you spotted the comet yet? If you miss it this time around you'll have to wait like 7000 years!

Well, for certain you need to be in a dark area, we didn't drive very far and the lights obscured good viewing, but it lasted for about an hour, and at one point we drove a little further away from the lights though the best part of the viewing window had already closed. It was nice to hang out with daughter, her beau and their friend on the side of the road, LoL.
Most of my pictures were pretty faint, my daughter got the best photo (below) which is still a bit washed out, did anyone else get a pic?

I hear the 22nd is the optimum viewing day.

It persists in being cloudy here at view time and clears after midnight. Grrr.

The skies are clear and I've tried looking for it but I haven't found it yet. Going to give it another try this evening.
