Pagan Music, Anyone?

Post by MyDarkCelticFlames »

Does anyone here have any favorite pagan bands?
Some of my personal favorites include Turisas, Korpiklaani, Finntroll... etc.

Kellianna, Gaia Consort (I think they changed their name to 'Bone Poets now), Damh The Bard, and Blackmores Night! I also listen to the PaganFM! podcast on iTunes and get a lot of music from there.

Damh the Bard is pretty popular I think, he is one of my favorites (folk music)
The Dolmen are another popular bands, very lively, but not my personal taste
Incubus Succubus are a band who are slightly more gothic, a bit darker than the other 2.
Youtube is my favorite spot for music, and you can download all of these bands songs/albums from itunes.
Hope this helps! :D

Faith and the Muse, also.
Loreena McKennit and Enya are some that are more new-agey, but sound excellent.

I've heard some of Lisa Thiel's music. A few people I know enjoy S.J. Tucker's music as well.
Growing from mud, although challenging, offers great promise.
